POLITICIANS PAY ATTENTION
TO TWO THINGS…MONEY AND VOTES.
Our votes matter in every election. Ohio Unity Coalition focuses on issues our communities care about and we connect those issues to the importance of voting. We welcome your involvement with helping to increase the civic participation of black voters across Ohio. We must register, educate and turnout more voters in order to maximize our impact and influence in elections and policy.
If you are reading this post, you likely have internet access either in your home or on your wireless device (mobile phone) that keeps us connected to the world. Like me, we don't think twice when we're logged in and reading, sharing or viewing videos or content because we know we're connected.
It's hard to imagine that anyone would not have access or afford to have access to this very common mode of communicAtion but in reality hundreds of thousands low income Ohioans are living disconnected from information readily available if Congress does the right thing and authorizes provide additional funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
